Tomorrow is the day for the Nationwide Recess Rally. This is what we’ve all been working for and we believe we’ll see great success across the country.
As a reminder, tomorrow’s gatherings are a symbolic statement from We The People for those who we elect to REPRESENT us. We recommend that you get pictures, get video, and shake hands with as many people as possible. Make your voice heard and build relationships across your community in the process.
But what are the action items to follow the Recess Rally?
VITAL FOLLOW UP ACTION
Most people don’t know this, but without Republican complicity and votes, Obama Care would likely be dead in the Senate.
What the negotiating Republican Senators do will determine the final results in the Obamacare fight. The Senators who have the power to see Obama pass or fail are Grassley (IA), Enzi (WY), Snowe (ME), Collins (ME), Graham (SC) and Bennett (UT). These six Senators should stop negotiating a compromise and let this nightmare legislation come to an end.
So after the Recess Rally, you should take the following action steps:
-Visit, call and email YOUR Rep/Senator
-Call and email the six Senators listed above
-Write letters to your local editor and mention the six Senators
-Post reminders about the six on your Facebook, Twitter and social media profiles
-Post reminders about the six on your blog
-E-mail your friends and family and explain the details about these six Senators
-Contact the RNC/GOP and demand they put pressure on the six Senators
We The People employ these elected Senators. It’s our job to demand they do their jobs and look out for the interest of America.
Lastly, I want to personally thank the hundreds of Americans who have put in countless hours to make the Recess Rally effort happen. Your work is much appreciated and your contribution is potentially game changing for the direction of our great country.

President Obama, Ms. Pelosi, etc. etc:
Please do not mess with our healthcare system.
I do not trust the government to administer such a complicated program, and
I do not want the United States to become a communistic state.
I am very pleased with my current healthcare and would really appreciate it if
you would leave it alone. Some small changes, admittedly, must be made. I
hope that you will give this important matter all the time it needs to get it
right, and include our talented Republicans in Congress, not just the Democrats, in the formation of a revised plan.
I hope that you still care about what Americans, such as myself, think and want. Let me remind you that we are a representative republic; we are a government for the people, by the people, and that you are elected to represent our wants and opinions.

Hey Gary Grazioso: If “Cash For Clunkers” isn’t working how do you explain the fact that it has burned through $3 billion, saved (at least temporarily) a couple of car companies and 100’s of thousands of jobs and gave A LOT of people new and MORE EFFICIENT(if only slightly) cars therby reducing pollution???? Oh, I forgot – you people don’t know what a fact is and consider pollution a measure of economic success.
Please, Congress:
1. Table all existing health care bills.
2. Begin efForts on TORT REFORM
3. Pass immediate legislation to allow competition between health insurance companies across state lines.
4. Create legislation that will allow small businesses to set up their own cooperatives to purchase health insurance for their employees. with no Government involvement other than the possibility of tax incentives to offset their organizational costs.
5. READ the “Fair Tax” Bill that is available in the House and get serious about real tax reform that can substantially reduce the administrative expenses connected with our current Tax Laws. That Bill allows for one tax that can provide all the money you are currently spending, while, I’m being redundant, reducing the cost of collections. That tax also ties in directly with consumer spending and help keep you all within the parameters of our GNP.
6. Reverse your position on the bill where you extended the non-competitive rights of pharmaceutical companies.
7. Stop President Obama from loaning money to a Brazilian state-run oil company for off-shore drilling (he is obviously 2-faced about the ‘harm’ of offshore drilling to our environment) and lift your ban on our oil companies so that we can do the drilling off our shores and reduce dependence on foreign oil.
8. Seriously consider a ban on all lobbying of Congressional and federal employees for one full year with a heavy fine for violations, so that you can have an opportunity to be more objective in your decision making on the matters so important to your broader body of constituents.
9. READ all bills before voting and allow at least 72 hours after any change in each bill for public review and action.
10. Do NOT allow any government funding for abortions, unless they are truly the famly’s decision to save the mother’s life.
11. Know that your failure to listen has created a growing number of politically active people who were not active before, and when you stand up for what you believe in, be willing to face the consequences of your actions, just like each of us has to.

I can tell you first hand that Clusters For Clunkers, although a seeming boom to the auto consumer, has been nothing but an administrative nightmare for the dealers. So, speaking from inside the belly of this particular beast, let me assure you that anything these bureaucrats touch turns to manure in an instant. This comparitively small fund is not even a drop in the bucket of what their takeover of Health Care would be. It is my earnest hope and desire that the U.S. Government get back to the jobs WE HIRE THEM to do and try very hard to remember WE ARE THE BOSS. As a nation, most of us know there is no real health care crisis, but that it indeed needs a tuneup. This commie-lite approach to taking control and reducing patient/doctor relationships is absolutely NOT the way to fix the problem. It’s like dropping a nuke on a tiny village of ten with blowguns. These 6 Senators need to recognize their place in history and do the right thing. To the honorable Senators Bennett, Collins, Enzi, Graham, Grassley and Snowe, hear my plea that you go back to the oath you took way back before all the lobbyists and other power pushers got to you. Your job is to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States of America, and to DO THE BIDDING of the American People as it is in their best interest. You all know, to a man, this program is nothing more than foreign influence driving towards totalitarian control of our nation. Do the right thing and pull the plug. You’re experiencing the same illusory influence as most of America. People believe the program (Cluster$%*#s for Clunkers) is a success based solely on the fact that over 300,000 people rushed out to get their chunk of the government cheese. What you, and the rest of the folks are missing (who rely on what they see on TV) is the cash flow piece of the equation. That magical, elusive beast that is the engine to ANY successful program. You’re wrong in stating that they have “burned through” $3Billion dollars, David. By their own admission, they have paid out less than 3% of that money so far. One optimistic report has it pegged at a $200,000,000. But, the problem is they’re taking bows and tooting their own horns while dealers are left scratching their heads. You see, those vouchers (most of which went off at $4,500) have been “fronted” by the dealer. Until the dealers are paid back, the program can not be termed wildly successful. Nor, should you and others be spouting off that “they” have “burned through $3billion” when they admit that they haven’t REIMBURSED dealers even a sixth of it yet. Most of us here know exactly what facts are, David. And, we haven’t been brainwashed into the Junk Science Idiocracy of thinking SUVs are evil, and evil people in government are good and here to help us. I’m stepping outside to rev up some big V8 engines now. I’ll be thinking of you as that carbon emission makes a cloud and heads your way. VRRRROOOOOOOOOOM!!!

I’m here to tell you I’m not for the Nationalized Health Care. It makes no sense that a plan that has caused more debt in other countries that everyone included in it has yet to even see the light of day do to no one has climbed out from under it will be any different here. The fact that there are people who view all Americans as wealthy & rich, hasn’t lived here. There are those who are & they deserve it for they earned it. This mentality to lie & mislead the people you can count on one thing. Your complete & utter removal from office. I have no qualms in supporting the candidate against you. Due to the fact that all you seem to support is what matters to you not the people who you bully, ignore or feel that they’re too stupid to understand.
Call it what you want liberalism, socialism, marxism. All I hear from the press that supports you & the tactics being used coming from your end of means reminds me of Fascism. My Mothers side of the family went through that & told me enough of what that was like from WW2. There is no way I’m going to tolerate or put up with these fear tactics or ignorance. From a bunch that has no common seance to look at a bill & read it through before voting it in. Doesn’t deserve a re-election or a second chance.
Americans all across the country have been seeking a specific plan to channel their unhappiness into serious constructive change to regain control of our government and restore our nation’s values and traditions. The Citizen’s Action Plan of America- the CAPOA Plan- provides a blueprint:
Citizens Action Plan of America
(CAPOA Plan)
To achieve the maximum impact, a citizens’ election action plan must target the group that controls the existing system. Since the Democrats won control of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives in the November 2006 election, they have controlled both houses of Congress. Then, Barack Obama’s election as President in November 2008 resulted in even larger Democrat majorities in both houses of Congress.
Because the Democrats have full control of both houses of Congress and the White House, they are responsible for the present state of affairs and must be held accountable for the on-going failures. However, they have refused to act responsibly and have, instead, ruled with unprecedented arrogance and disregard for the American people.
The American people are getting increasingly angry and more willing to actively demonstrate their disgust with government at all levels. Americans who have, until now, been able to concentrate on providing for their families and focusing on their futures now find themselves having to speak out and openly demonstrate against the government, and look for additional ways and means to express their outrage.
Now, there are two ways to do this: 1) the path our forefathers took in the late 1700s, or 2) a more simple, but profoundly effective, constitutional and peaceful approach. The terms of the members of the U.S. House of Representatives are two years, so all 435 House seats will be up for election in November 2010. Because U.S. Senate terms are six years, one-third of the Senate will be up for election in 2010 as well. In addition, in state elections across the country, a great many governors, state legislators and officers will also be on the ballot. In 2010 there will also be many local elections for mayor and city council, county offices and others as well. So America will have a terrific opportunity to do some badly-needed “house cleaning” in 2010, and voters can take full advantage of that to send a strong, clear and unmistakable message to the politicians.
The Plan.
America now has for immediate implementation the two-phase Citizens Action Plan of America (CAPOA Plan), with a three-step first phase. To achieve maximum effectiveness, the first phase of CAPOA, by necessity, targets the ruling party: the Democrats. Therefore, CAPOA (I) consists of the following steps:
1) In 2010, Americans will not contribute any money whatsoever to the Democrat party or to any Democrat candidate for public office at any level of government (federal, state or local);
2) In 2010, Americans will not vote for any Democrat candidate for any office at any level of government on any ballot in any state or territorial possession of the United States; and
3) Beginning immediately, the American people will demand implementation of term limits for every publicly-elected office at every level of government (federal, state and local). In addition to demanding implementation of such term limits, Americans will financially support organizations that promote implementation of term limits, and will directly and personally become involved in assisting such groups to successfully enact such term limits.
A successful CAPOA (I) will cripple Democrats all across America and send a very strong signal that abuse of the American people and the American system will no longer be tolerated. Now, to remind the Republicans that they should not consider CAPOA to be a partisan program to give them free license to similarly ignore America’s citizens, if necessary, the second phase of CAPOA will target the Republican Party in the 2012 elections with the first two elements of CAPOA (I) listed above. Hopefully, the third element of CAPOA (I) will be well under way by 2012, but if not, then that third element will be added to CAPOA (II) as well.
The Specifics.
The first element of the CAPOA Plan is self-explanatory. Politicians need money to achieve and hold office. Therefore, if Americans withhold contributions to the politician’s campaigns, it will strangle their ability to win elections. So it is essential that no money- not one nickel- be given to the Party targeted by CAPOA phase I in 2010 or phase II in 2012.
The second element- withholding votes from the targeted party- requires a bit more analysis. Using CAPOA (I) in 2010 as the initial example, as voters, Americans will have two main options at the polls as they examine each office on the ballot: 1) vote for anyone but a Democrat, or 2) if, for whatever reason, they are not inclined to vote for one of the other candidates for any particular office, they can decline to vote for anyone for that office- but, whatever, NOT vote for a Democrat. Either way, it is essential for everyone to go to the election polls to vote at each election in 2010, because the total number of voters compared to the number of votes received by the targeted party will then demonstrate the effectiveness of the CAPOA Plan. In other words, when the targeted party sees how many votes they DIDN’T get out of the total number of votes cast in any local, state or federal election, they will then understand how powerful the American people have become.
Now, there will be extenuating circumstances in some cases for some voters. For example, in 2010, a voter’s good friend, relative or associate may be a Democrat candidate or office-holder seeking re-election, and it may be difficult to vote for someone else. Fine- then don’t vote for someone else, just don’t vote at all for that particular office. Yes, it’s true- that would mean not voting FOR that friend, relative or associate, and that may be a hard choice. But, by not voting for someone else, at least they didn’t vote AGAINST their friend, relative or associate either. Remember- the control of legislative committees is determined by which party holds the most seats in a legislative chamber, and leadership and committee chair assignments are then made accordingly. So, for example, a voter may have a “nice” Democrat Congressional Representative or Senator, but by voting for them, voters are also voting to re-elect Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker or Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader- that’s just how the system works.
Many folks are life-long Democrats who will be uneasy with the idea of Republicans possibly benefitting from CAPOA (I). Keep in mind that, if CAPOA (I) has not achieved the desired changes in our governmental system, the Republicans will be targeted with CAPOA (II) in 2012. In fact, CAPOA (II) may actually hurt the Republicans more, because 2012 is also a Presidential election year, and CAPOA (II), if necessary, could doom the Republican candidate for President as well as decimate the party’s congressional ranks and their officeholders at the state and local levels. So, the CAPOA Plan is an equal opportunity “in your face” message to both major parties.
Finally, remember- voters, do not necessarily HAVE to choose only between Democrat and Republican candidates. In recent years an increasing number of “third-party” choices have become available, especially for state and federal offices. Such “minor” parties as the Libertarians and the Greens may be desirable options to consider for several offices on the ballot, and votes for those parties would help to encourage a broadening of our political system.
But, again, using CAPOA (I) as an example, this requires that, in 2010, American citizens NOT vote for any Democrat for any office at any level of government in any election that year. In addition to the national election in November of 2010, several other state and local elections will be held in many states at other times during the year. Several local elections are held in Spring, for example. The point is, in any election in 2010, Americans should NOT vote for any Democrat for anything- not for U.S. Senator or Representative, for state representative, for mayor, for dogcatcher- nothing, none, nada, zilch, zero. And remember, if necessary- if CAPOA (I) doesn’t sufficiently catch the attention of the politicians, CAPOA (II) will subject the Republicans to similar treatment in 2012.
Now, another point- in many local elections, candidates are elected on a non-partisan basis, meaning that they are not running as a Democrat or Republican or some other party affiliation. But many candidates in those elections actually are members of some political party- so voters should try to find out candidates’ affiliations, and not vote for any who may (in 2010) be Democrats. If voters just can’t determine if a candidate has a particular political affiliation, then they should just use their best judgment and do what they feel is right. Or just don’t vote for anyone for that particular office.
Summary.
There is nothing- absolutely nothing- that elected officials fear more than defeat at the polls. Depriving them of the money to run their campaigns will cripple their election efforts, and the boycotting of votes for everyone in their party will go a long way to assure that their candidates won’t win. And even if those two elements are not completely successful, implementation of term limits will eventually involuntarily remove arrogant officials from their cherished thrones against their wills.
The real beauty of the CAPOA Plan is its remarkable simplicity. To make the CAPOA Plan work, all that Americans need to do is commit to it, and forward this CAPOA Plan outline to everyone they know, to any websites and blogs that may be interested in reviewing and discussing it, and to any news services that may be instrumental in spreading the word about it. That’s it- no muss, no fuss, and it doesn’t cost anyone a penny.
The politicians have ignored American citizens long enough- now it’s our turn to ignore them. For one year- 2010- Americans will refuse to give targeted politicians our money or give them our votes, and we will immediately begin devoting ourselves to establishing term limits to stop the politicians from entrenching themselves in public office. Our so-called “leaders” have forgotten what democracy, and America, are all about. This is America’s opportunity to remind them- it will be a rude awakening for them, and a lesson that they will never, ever, forget. And, if the lesson hasn’t been sufficiently learned by the remaining officials in 2010, we will target the other side in 2012.
That is the best, simplest, and most effective revenge against the ruling aristocracy that has ignored, mocked and ridiculed American citizens for far too long. The CAPOA Plan will implement a new American Revolution and return control of our nation, our economy and our legal system to its rightful owners- the people. And it will be done peacefully, simply and constitutionally. All that Americans need to do is commit to the CAPOA (I) Plan in 2010, and, if necessary, CAPOA (II) in 2012. It allows Americans to save their money by not contributing any to politicians, and gives them the opportunity to go to the polls on any election day in 2010 and vote accordingly. That’s it- nobody gets arrested, nobody gets hurt, political responsibility and accountability are restored, and America is returned to its greatness.
The Citizens Action Plan of America (CAPOA Plan) is truly a citizens’ plan. There is no group, no organization or any political party sponsoring it. There is no headquarters, no website, no phone number, no dues, no membership forms, no spokesperson. It is a true grass-roots democratic movement in the truest and fullest sense of the word. It is the millions of Americans who are joining, and anyone and everyone else who wants to be committed to it. It is the people’s movement, and it can achieve the maximum benefit at the lowest possible cost: change- true change- in our political system.
Now, if you support the CAPOA Plan but you just cannot resist the urge to speak out and be more pro-active in registering your discontent about the current state of affairs, fine. If you feel compelled, for example, to attend one of the many growing “tea party” demonstrations across the country, fine- just make sure you take along a protest sign that says “Enact CAPOA Now!”, “CAPOA Now!” or even just “CAPOA!”.
Your attention and interest in restoring America can make this happen.
What we don’t have in this country is a free market system. We need a system that can support the right of its citizens to copyright, distribute, and sell original material and use material by permission of others. The problem we have is that there is no access to markets. The problem we face also is global economy. What is produced in America should stay in America unless other countries want to buy it for a reasonable price. That is why we are broke. We give everything away. We take our businesses away from the country where they originated and therefore there is no employment for our citizens. \
The health care system does not need reform, it needs upgrading. Citizens should get what they pay for in government, entertainment, health care and all other businesses. The federal government should not be dictating to us how we pay for our health care. Each county, state, and district could set up a health clinic where trained staff could assist those that cannot pay. Much like our health departments but on a larger scale.
We do not need the federal government interfering in our constitutional rights of the 1st or 2nd amendment. The freedom of speech, religion, press, and the right to petition congress should not be repressed. The right to keep and bear arms should always be upheld.
I believe all Americans should go out and find themselves a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and actually sit down and study it. You will see that we are not as free as you think.
We need innovative, quality leadership from our government not a dictatorship.

What in the world makes all you people trust HUGE corporations so much more than our own elected government? Why the blind faith in these companies that constantly switch your plan and your premiums and send you scurrying around trying to make sense of all the fine print? Why? Huge insurance and pharmaceutical companies are more fair and moral and caring than our government? I have problems with big government myself, but this industry needs reformed and will be. Rest assured my hyperbolic patriots, it won’t be socialism and you’ll be able to keep your gun.
None of this is about health care reform – it’s about gaining more power and control over our lives – turning this country more and more toward socialism and away from capitalism. These same politicians who swore to defend the Constitution of our country are doing what they can to destroy it and our country. They should be removed from office at the very least.

If it wasn’t so tragic it would be laughable the way the Obama administration and his willing accomplice continue to fool the American people. It is clear the goal of the Obama usurpers is not to fix or save anything but to control, “Government” control of every expect of our lives. Obama’s legacy will best be remember for the “hate crimes against America” and his doctrine will best be describe as “the enemy of mine enemy is my friend” not to mention his foreign policy, “I am sorry so sorry I apologize.” If successful, history will judge this administration and his willing accomplice harshly!

Six people showed up, not bad for something we only just found out about last night. A tv news reporter driving by on her way to interview somebody about a local transit issue came back to cover us. We shall see.
I’ll gladly pay taxes to my government before greedy international profiteers.

I am shocked to see the country I love being dismantled by the people we elected. My grandfather, father, and brother fought for the freedoms we are about to lose. I am a mother and a grandmother who does not want to leave my grandchildren in a world I don’t know anymore. America was once a productive country in automobiles, factories of all kinds and now what – our jobs are overseas our religion is no longer allowed in our schools – our children are not being brought up with values anymore because the things we were taught as children aren’t allowed anymore. I have never been so passionate about anything before but this health care bill stinks to high heaven. One question – why can’t we THE AMERICAN PEOPLE vote this bill in or out? We put these idoits in office we should be able to take them out as easily as we put them in. Isn’t this a country by the people and for the people? I am not talking violence of any kind – but we the people who pay their salaries should be able to demand a vote by the people – legal American Citizens. I raise two granddaughters and believe me anything run by the government is a disaster – they waste more money on programs that really don’t benefit the working class people of this country. I want my America back.
Just one more thing:
What would happen if every American against this health care bill, all the radical czars, and all the back door politics said “ok on this day we will not go to work and if the need be we will stay out of work until you listen to the people who elected you.” Without our tax money how will they continue to run the government? Might be hard on some people but as neighbors standing together and helping eachother we could accomplish anything. America is a great country don’t let it be destroyed as we know and love it.
