Back in August of 2008, we organized a collaborative effort to start up an unprecedented Twitter based conversation campaign surrounding the energy issue. Many believe our social media campaign (The DontGo Movement) played a significant role in driving what became the “Drill Here Drill Now” blitz put on by American Solutions.
The American Liberty Alliance, being one of the three main groups behind the Tax Day Tea Party effort, also utilized Twitter to drive a lot of the Tea Party related conversation across all realms of the web.
While many believe these Twitter based surges were the peak of free-market activism online, we think we’re just getting started.
